Meet Kyle Smyth, MPS, LADC
When Kyle listens to you, you really feel heard. He doesn’t have an agenda for you, other than what you express you have for yourself. Kyle is empathetic and non-judgmental, providing space for you to be and discover who you are.
Kyle’s therapeutic superpower is being direct, without it feeling abrasive or blunt. In a world where it’s rare to get clear feedback or be challenged, Kyle can respectfully push you toward your goals.
Kyle’s philosophy is that true wellness has many facets. Mental health, physical health, relational health, and chemical health are not always separate issues. His treatment approach integrates solutions to address all of these aspects of your wellbeing. Kyle’s master’s degree is in integrated behavioral health and he went on to get his license as an alcohol and drug counselor. He is highly trained in integrating evidence-based approaches to help you achieve the goals you have for yourself in the realms of chemical health and mental health.
When Kyle is not working, he’s probably hanging out with his partner, child and two cats. Kyle is a voracious reader and amateur photographer. Despite having what he describes as a “terrible singing voice,” Kyle has a deep love of music.Kyle enjoys the study of philosophy and other intellectually stimulating topics and discussions.
